Dorking Eco Hub

The Eco Hub in an informal get together which takes place on the first Sunday each month from 2pm – 4pm (except for August). All are welcome to just come, relax and have a cuppa, some homemade cake and a chat.

The Dorking Eco Hub takes place in the tranquil setting of the Dorking Quaker Meeting House and Gardens. The building is a complete treasure and sits above the South Street gardens and bus stop.

There is a talk each month on a variety of subjects. Plus children’s activities and crafts for those wanting to try their skills. There are swaps and shares of seeds, plants and other items depending on the season, plus there’s always the opportunity to swap and share books and magazines or borrow a book from the Eco Library. So please pop in for a cuppa and a chat.

Dorking Eco Hub is an initiative between Circular Dorking, Parents for Future and the Dorking Quakers. The concept of holding a monthly informal meeting was created through a spin-off discussion from those who took part in Passion for the Planet and has now become a legacy project. There are also a lot of other volunteers and organisations who contribute towards our meetings. Please see notes about our previous meetings below to discover just some of our contributors.

Guildford Seed Bank Talk at Dorking Eco Hub

Guildford Seed Bank visited the Eco hub and gave an informative talk and gave away local seeds they had gathered from various sources. They have generously given us a copy of their presentation.
