Donate to Circular Dorking

We need your help to allow us to keep working towards a sustainable town and surrounding area and expanding our programme of activity. There are no membership fees to be a member of Circular Dorking and we are not sponsored nor tied to any vested interests nor lobby groups. We are a not-for-profit community interest company (CIC). Our core members, directors and volunteers do not take a salary nor take dividends.  We are run by the community for the community.

Do you have specific skills? Are you able to give up some of your time? Whether it be just an hour of two occasionally or becoming part of our core working group, any help is very welcome. Our projects are expanding all the time and we have a whole host of activities we need help with.

We recommend people to shop locally and with small independent providers, wherever possible.  However, when you do shop online or with major brand, please do consider shopping via https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/circular-dorking/ and those brands will donate to Circular Dorking.  We will then use this funding to promote and grow a more local circular economy.

Please nominate Circular Dorking C.I.C. as the beneficiary.

We have a JustGiving page to raise funds for:

Please consider making a one-off or regular contribution.  Apply here: <pending>

People who use the Dorking Library of Things donate a small contribution (optionally) when they borrow from the LoT, which enables us to maintain and grow the inventory for the local community.

We raise funding in various ways, such as: grant funding applications, running events, event raffles, annual CircularDorking community quiz, consultancy on community engagement, a percentage of fee from our volunteers doing energy surveys (optional), core member donations, Director donations, CircularDorking member business voluntary donations. Everything we do is not-for-profit and our volunteers, core team and Directors take no salary nor dividends.

If you fancy playing a local lottery with the opportunity of a prize up to £25,000, then consider nominating ‘Circular Dorking’ as the beneficiary in the Mole Valley MVDC Lottery.
