IT Equipment Waste Reuse and Recycling

Computer Recycling Project

At the 2024 Great Big Green Week event in Dorking we collected over £12,000 of IT Equipment Waste for reuse and recycling.  This was taken to CPR Computer Recycling Ltd at Godstone, Surrey, for reconditioning, reuse, resale, strip-down and recycling.

CPR Recycling are a not-for-profit outfit, with profits going to local Surrey charities.

Book a free collection of your waste IT equipment from Dorking and the surrounding areas:

This can include items like: Desktop All-in-One Computers, Desktop Computers, Thin Client Terminals, Computer Monitors, Laptops and Netbooks, Servers, Tablets, Mobile Phones, Smart Phones, Office IP Telephones, Printers, Projectors, Amplifiers and Speakers, Network Hubs, Network Switches, Hardware Firewalls, Hubs, Televisions and Display Panels, Cables, Chargers and Adapters.

You can post the waste IT equipment to them (postage from £2.15 via Interparcel):

Or simply load up any Computer and IT equipment and drop it off directly at their IT waste management facility – CPR Recycling Ltd. Parkwood Industrial Estate, Byers Lane, Godstone, Surrey, RH9 8JJ.

Alternatively, you can drop items off in the porch of 61 Fairfield Drive, Dorking, Surrey, RH4 1JG – and Circular Dorking will periodically arrange for it to be collected by CPR Recycling.

Eight great wins, so why not?

CPR Recycling also do GDPR compliant data destruction, and provide a certificate, if required.

And next time you need some IT equipment, consider buying reconditioned ex-waste IT equipment.

Working towards a more sustainable region and taking responsibility for our waste.
