Our Energy Check project aims to help small businesses and other organisations in Surrey reduce costs, lower carbon, and strengthen long-term resilience through trusted, impartial advice. 

What is the offer?

If you’re a Surrey-based organisation, you can apply to receive:

• A one-hour on-site visit from our Energy Assessor
• A tailored report showing areas for potential energy and cost savings
• Recognition and credibility with a Digital Participation Badge and a potential feature in our Energy Check Spotlight series on LinkedIn.

Spaces are strictly limited in the first year so early registration is encouraged. 

Who is eligible

Eligibility is open to Surrey-based SMEs and non-profit organisations operating from non-domestic premises with one main physical site.

We will be prioritising smaller organisations and those taking their first step towards energy efficiency and sustainability. ​​​​​​

The Energy Check provides high level energy advice to get you started on reducing your energy use and lowering operational costs. We do not provide a full Non-Domestic Energy Assessment, nor is it a structural or condition survey of the property. Businesses should obtain professional advice before undertaking any works or committing to investments.
