What’s happening with climate and nature and what does it mean for everyday life in and around Betchworth?

Join us at Betchworth Village Hall for a screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing – an eye-opening 50-minute film bringing together nine leading UK scientists and experts with the latest evidence on climate change and why extreme weather matters for things like food security, health and the cost of living.

The film is based on the National Emergency Briefing held for MPs and journalists in Westminster, with reactions from Chris Packham, Deborah Meaden, Jennifer Saunders and a range of voices from across the UK. 

Following the film, we will host an open discussion on the practical actions we can take to mitigate the effects of climate change, protect our environment and our future – both individually and in community. . 

The screening and discussion is hosted by Betchworth Parish Coouncil in partnership with Re-Betchworth and the 4Bs Biodiversity Group.   

Bring a friend, neighbour or family member: everyone is welcome. (Age 16+)

Seats are FREE but limited so please book in advance.
