Little stories to inspire big changes

Litter pickers added to the Library of Things

Circular Dorking have to say a big thank you to both those who have donated items and those who have used the service. The Dorking Library of Things is a collaborative initiative partnered with Dorking Library.

Circular Dorking was delighted to visit Pippbrook, MVDC council offices to pick up 10 sets of litter picking equipment which MVDC have kindly donated for community use. We would like to thank Councillor Rosemary Hobbs and Parks and Environment Manager, Andrew Reeves for organising this on our behalf.

Community groups wishing to organise a litter pick can now easily borrow this equipment. To source the litter picking equipment for your community group simply go to the Dorking Library of Things website:https://circulardorking.myturn.com/library/

Here you can view the inventory and click on and order any item, once the item has been confirmed as booked, this can then be picked up and returned to Dorking Library.

The service is free of charge but like most initiatives Circular Dorking is reliant on kind donations from users of the Library of Things service and friendly community donors. Please check our website to find out how you might be able to help https://circulardorking.org.uk/donate-to-us/
