Dorking Minds • Youth Mental Health First Aid

Saturday 11 & 18 May • 2 day course • 9am – 5pm

Open to residents of the Dorking area. You need to attend BOTH SESSIONS in full to be accredited by MHFA England as a Youth Mental Health First Aider.

We limit numbers to 16 people per course so that the instructor can keep people safe and supported while they learn.

Through a mix of group activities, presentations and discussions, each session is built around a Youth Mental Health First Aid action plan. You will get an MHFA manual to keep and refer to whenever you need it.

The course normally costs c. £300 but we subsidise this heavily through our independent local fundraising to make it accessible to all.
